Porthmadog Golf Driving Range is a purpose built Range situated only 1 mile form the popular town of Porthmadog on the edge of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.

The range facility offers everything for the beginner to the tour golfer. The range is 400 yards long which i would imagine is long enough for any budding John Daly's out there! The newly shaped target greens are placed so that  you can practice and develop all kinds of shots at various distances. We use mainly branded golf balls, so you will get more realistic ball flights and accurate feedback. 

The range is run by PGA Professional Stephen McOmish. Stephen has been a Professional for over 13 years, having began his career as an assistant Professional in South West England where he played extensively within the region and actually won his third event he played in as a Pro.

Golf has taken Stephen to some of the World's most beautiful locations and he has been fortunate enough to have worked with many of the countries leading coaches. Prior to taking over the Range at Porthmadog He has been coaching full-time for a number of years. Stephen has a simple and easy approach to golf, and believes that there is always a better player in everyone. His task is to help his Pupil find the answer and fully develop and learn from it. Over the last year Stephen has launched a golf skills development game (www.side-spin.com) which is challenging and fun. The game is designed to help all golfers and is played on the Golf Course or Driving Range. He recently launched at the PGA Golf Show in Orlando and received fantastic feedback from everyone in the Industry. He also took part in the 2010 John Logie Baird Awards Program for Innovation and made it to the Regional Finals last year.
